Wood Lathe Part 2: Face/Bowl Turning In-Person
Wood Lathe Part 1 MUST be completed before attending a Wood Lathe Part 2.
Once you have an idea of how the wood lathe works for spindles and working on the side of a workpiece you can try your hand at face/bowl tuning. This training shows you how to cut on the lathe's other axis, shaping on a boards face instead of its edge to create cups, plates, bowls, and anything else with a wider profile.
Due to the complexity and safety risks multiple sessions may be needed before a user has "passed" training.
