Metals: MIG Welding In-Person

Learn about protective equipment for the welding area, then how to set up and use the Mig Welder.  Use it to create beads and join metal

This training covers the safety, protective equipment and setup for MIG welding. MIG is one of the most common welding processes in all of manufacturing and production because of it's speed and strength, although not as complicated as TIG proficiency still takes practice and repeat visits. 

Proficiency is determined by a the Shop Supervisor performing the training and could require multiple sessions

This training involves hands-on activities that may pose some safety risks. To participate in this training, you must have completed the following online safety trainings. For access use the following link to access the online training content.

Please do not wear synthetic clothing (polyester, spandex, etc) or mesh shoes. The preferred clothing would be leather/canvas boots/shoes and cotton jeans/pants.
