Metals: Lathe Part 1 In-Person
This training is the introduction to the Metal Lathe. Users will learn the parts and safe operation of the Metal Lathe then practice basic cutting procedures, which could include facing, dimensioning, drilling, boring, tapering, and parting.
Completing Part 1 only does not grant you any access to using the Metal Lathes at the Student Innovation Center, both Part 1 and Part 2 MUST be completed before using the machines.
