3D Printing: Bambu In-Person

This hands-on training session introduces the fundamentals of the Bambu X1C and H2D 3D printers along with the Bambu Studio slicer. Please bring your laptop with Bambu Studio installed ahead of time. (A free download link is available on Canvas.) Participants will have the option to complete one complimentary print at the time of training depending on machine availability.

This training involves hands-on activities that may pose some safety risks. To participate in this, you must have completed the online safety trainings through Canvas. 

Please request access to the online safety training by emailing sictret3dprint@iastate.edu. 

  1. Log in to Canvas and go to Room 2222 Training
  2. In the Modules section complete:
    • Shop Safety Fundamentals and Hazard Communication
    • Review and complete the Room Governance Document and Sign-off 
    • Corresponding Equipment SOP Quiz - Bambu
